• Hours by person

  One stacked view per person showing holiday, leave, overload, booked and available hours side by side.

02Where the load comes from

• Your working calendar

  Capacity comes from your configured working hours, the working week and company holidays, including second and fourth Saturdays.

• Leave taken out

  Approved leave removes those days from a person's capacity so nothing gets booked on top of it.

• Built from estimated hours

  A task's estimated hours are spread across the assignee's working days, which is where the load in the view comes from.

• Day detail

  Click a day for booked, free and overload hours, the tasks behind them, and whether it is leave, a holiday or a weekend.

• Person detail

  Click a name for total capacity, booked and overload hours, free hours, working days, leave days and the task list.

03Moving the work

• Find who has room

  Pick a person and Orangescrum walks forward day by day to show when they can actually fit the work.

• Move the work

  Reassign a task and the old booking is released, a new one is built for the new person, and the dates move with it.

• Hours come back

  Closing a task returns the hours it had booked, so finished work stops blocking the view.

  Create a task and assign it straight from the free day you found.
