## Insurance project management _FAQ_

### Can we keep everything inside our own network?

Yes. The Self-Hosted edition installs on your own servers, private cloud, or an air gapped environment, and sends nothing to us. You own the backups, the retention policy, and the access list, which is normally what an insurer's security review is actually asking about.

### Is Orangescrum a claims or policy administration system?

No. We do not process claims, hold policies, rate risk, or handle underwriting decisions, and we are not a CRM. Orangescrum manages the projects around those systems: the migration, the product launch, the regulatory change, and the integration work, with owners, dates, and cost.

### Are you certified for any insurance regulation?

No, and we will not imply that we are. Regulatory compliance is a property of how your organisation operates and is assessed, not a badge software carries. What we can say plainly is that the Self-Hosted edition keeps project data inside infrastructure you control, permissions are role based and reviewable, and every item keeps a permanent activity history. Send us your due diligence questionnaire and we will answer each line honestly.

### Can we track a multi year system replacement?

Yes. Build the programme on a Gantt timeline with dependencies between workstreams, so when a migration wave moves you can see what it pushes. Programme views roll several projects into a single progress and cost picture.

### Can brokers or third party administrators be given access?

Yes. Every plan includes unlimited users and permissions are role based per project, so an external partner sees only its own workstream. There is no per seat cost pushing them back onto email.

### How does pricing work for a large insurer?

Flat monthly plans with unlimited users: Basic is 29 dollars a month, Pro is 69, and Premium is 349. Headcount does not change the price, so bringing another department or partner into the programme is a permissions decision rather than a budget one.

### Can we capture the fields our own process needs?

Yes. Custom fields let you add the attributes your programme reports on, such as line of business or regulatory reference, and then filter and report on them. Custom fields are on Pro and above in Cloud, and included in Self-Hosted.

### Is there an audit trail for decisions?
