By putting the work and the conversation in the same place. Tasks carry owners, dates, comments, and files, watchers are told when something changes, and boards and reports show progress without anyone having to describe it in a call. ### Is there chat, or only task comments? Both. Comments and @mentions live on the task, which is where decisions should stay. There is also one to one and group chat with file sharing for the quick questions, and admins can turn it on or off per project. ### Does it work across time zones? Yes. Each user has their own timezone setting, so a due date and a logged hour mean the same thing whether someone is in Bristol or Bangalore. ### Is there an Orangescrum mobile app? There is no mobile app we would point you at today. The web application works in a mobile browser, and the API is available if you want to build something. We would rather say this than list an app you cannot rely on. ### Does time tracking monitor my team? No, and it is worth being clear about it. Hours are logged against tasks by the person doing the work. There are no screenshots, no keystroke logging, and no idle detection anywhere in the product. ### Can I see who is overloaded? Yes. Workload and capacity views show allocated hours against availability, so you can move work before somebody quietly falls behind. Those views are on the Cloud Premium plan and included in Self-Hosted. ### What reports do remote managers actually use? Resource utilisation, workload summary, sprint burndown, velocity, average age, resolution time, and profitability. All of them are built from the work rather than from a status form. ### Is it secure enough for a distributed team? Role based permissions are in every edition, and so is two factor authentication, which sends a one time code by email. SAML single sign-on is on the Cloud Premium plan and in Self-Hosted, and LDAP or Active Directory sign in is Self-Hosted only. If your data cannot sit with a vendor at all, the Self-Hosted edition keeps it on your own infrastructure and adds a consolidated audit log. ### Do we pay per remote worker?
